Sometimes an idea can take on a life of it's own. My Wooberry dolls started as drawings. Then they became dolls. As dolls, they were begging to become characters in a story (as many dolls do once they enter the world of imaginative play).
Now, I use this Wooberry website as an umbrella for all of the creative activities I do these days. The list includes writing, illustrating, drawing, painting and sewing. I make custom dolls inspired by a child's drawing or a real person. I've had two picture books published and I continue to create artwork for commission including a series of prints for Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis. For my work as an Author and Illustrator I am represented by Erin Murphy of Erin Murphy Literary Agency.
